  5. Specifications and capabilities:

  7.     • 16 bit non-interlaced filler for arbitary no. of voices
  8.       (given processor bandwidth limits). Therefore no sample
  9.       aliasing occurs at low frequencies thus requiring no
  10.       filter in the hardware (guranteed quality).
  11.     • Practically inifnite sample size for 8/16 bit samples
  12.       (262*10^3 Gb sample length limit) with 8 octave range
  13.       allowing for superbly flexible composition.
  14.     • Perceived linear volume and stereo positions using
  15.       linear samples.
  16.     • Accepts little endian 16 bit 2's complement and 8-bit 
  17.       µ-Law (standard Arch format) sample formats.
  18.     • 256 samples can be loaded at anyone time from a sample
  19.       base of up to 2002 samples.
  20.     • Up to 256 patterns in a song of up to 256 sequences.
  21.     • Fully synchronised buffered effects with up to 256 
  22.       simultaneous auto-effects.
  23.     • Guaranteed no slow-down whilst playing (player has interrupt
  24.       status priority).
  25.     • Double speed resolution with speed resolution command
  26.       implemented - allows 100Hz resolutions for effects and events.
