  1.                         UPGRADING RASIS to Ver 2.02

  4.   First Time:
  5.     If this is your first look at RASIS, run "SETUPSIS", and answer Yes
  6.     when it asks for permission to create a new RASIS.CFG. Then edit the
  7.     default information to setup RASIS for your BBS system.
  8.  
  9.     If your RA environment variable is set, setup will get a couple of
  10.     the required directories from CONFIG.RA, but =YOU= will have to finish
  11.     it up.
  12.  
  13.     If this is your first time with RASIS, you need read no further.
  14.

  16.     NO UPGRADE PROGRAM FOR VERSIONS EARLIER THAN 2.0
  17.     **********************************************************************
  18.     Actually, we =DO= have a copy of the 106 to 200 convertor, if you are
  19.     still running the 1.06 relic, and would like to jump to 2.02, you can
  20.     contact the author and obtain that program, which will upgrade to
  21.     version 2.0.  From 2.0, you can go to 202 with the current program.

  23.     Upgrading from 2.0, 2.01 -
  24.  
  25.     To upgrade from version 2.0 OR 2.01 to 2.02, you need to run the included
  26.     conversion program 2XXTO202.EXE.
  27.  
  28.     It will upgrade your configuration file to the 202 format.
  29.     You will need to edit it, and supply any new information required.
  30.  
  31.     The upgrade program will check version id info, if the config file has
  32.     already been updated, it will abort.
  33.  
  34.     If you have multiple RASIS.CFG files, be sure to run it on all copies.
  35.  
  36.     As most users know, a new code is required for 2.02, we changed to our
  37.     OWN routines, requiring the new codes.  IF you have NOT yet received
  38.     your code, please contact the author ASAP so we can get you going.

  40.     The new codes are rather long, and its easy to make a mistake in
  41.     typing, resulting in the "Invalid Code" error message.
  42.     To help with this, SETUPSIS has a command, "KEY" which will read your
  43.     supplied <name>.key file, and import the code into RASIS.CFG
  44.  
  45.     Using the new SetupSis, insure that your KEY file is in the same
  46.     directory, and type SETUPSIS KEY, you will be prompted for the actual
  47.     filename.  The <filename>.KEY may discarded after this if you wish, it
  48.     is not directly used by any program except SETUPSIS.
