  35.   * In some countries/states it is illegal to take the line off-hook for
  36.     long periods of time. In others, you are billed from the second the
  37.     line goes off-hook. If you previously configured 'Lower DTR when
  38.     busy' to 'Yes' then the 'Offhook' string will never be sent.
  39.     However, the 'Down' string is sent regardless of this setting. If
  40.     you want to ensure that the line is never busied out by the modem
  41.     going 'off-hook' then blank out both of these strings.

  57.   These options allow you to configure FrontDoor to send specific
  58.   commands to the modem, if it matches a particular speed, nodelist
  59.   flag, or node number with the system being called.

  61.   In the case of USRobotics Courier Dual Standard modems (those
  62.   supporting HST as well as regular ITU high speed protocols) it is
  63.   important to choose the highest supported protocol when dialling out.
  64.   Insert each of the following lines in the correct order. If your
  65.   Courier modem does not support HST as well as ITU high speed protocols
  66.   then omit this section.

  76.   USRobotics modems sometimes have trouble negotiating error correction
  77.   with some Rockwell-chipset based V.FC modems. In order to fix this
  78.   problem, it is necessary to disable the V.42 detection phase, and
  79.   force a LAPM or MNP link. This is done by setting S-register to 48 or
  80.   32 respectively. If you experience such problems, add the following to
  81.   the list:
