└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
This program is designed to help those sysops offering UUCP access
to their users, such as Internet E-MAIL. To write a message to an
Internet address is a pain, that's where this program comes to play,
*ease the pain*!
What this program does is allow your users to enter an Internet
message just like a FidoNet message, with the person's address
at where it suppose to be, rather a line at beginning of the body
of the message, where most users are likely to make mistakes. And
this way reply to an Internet message is easier than ever, no need
to strip the Internet address, change the destination name etc. All
they need to do when reply is hit the reply key, type in reply, and
let PBBSuucp handle the address stripping etc...
Once your user entered such a message, and logged off your BBS, you
call up the mail tosser/scanner to scan your message for any output
messages, and moves the entered netmail to the Fidonet Netmail
directory for delivery. After run the scanner, you call up *THIS
PROGRAM*, it will scan through your netmail directory and find
those messages with Internet style address (with "@") at the
destination field, once a message is found, it redirects the message
to "UUCP" and add a new line at the beginning of the body of the
message like "TO: NAME@SOMEWHERE".
Now, the message is all set for transfer through UUCP gateway without
any error. *IT IS THAT EASY*
Example:
FR: Bing Wu
TO: someone@somewhere, Panda BBS! (1:282/1016)
RE: Testing

TO: UUCP, HostMaster (1:1/31) <<Override
RE: Testing
-----
TO: someone@somewhere
[Message Body]
This program is also able to replace the word "UUCP" from the
FROM field of the incoming mail to the Internet address specified
in the message body. If none found, UUCP will be still used.
This program should be able to run on any computer with any kind of
setup. The Author, however, CANNOT gurantee it will work on your
computer or/and your system setup.

The Setup program for this program is easy to use and understand. It's
a full screen program, so no EXTERNAL text editor is required.
This version of PBBSuucp takes advantage of the environment variable,
it will function much smoother with the SET environment but it's not
required. It is simply used to make PBBSuucp and its utilitis to be
able to locate the correct data files. In case neither the SET
environment is set nor a directory is specified with command
line parameter, current directory where the program is loaded will
be used.
Make sure that you also have the directory where the programs are
located included in the PATH parameter. So the all programs can
be located.
To use the PBBSuucp evironment variable, simply add following line
to your autoexec.bat or the batch file you call the RA or the
PBBSuucp
SET PBBSU=[Directory]
Run this program after every toss/scan of mails by your mailer or run
it once a day in the daily maintenance. All in All, it's upto you
to decide!
