SYSCALLS v1.00
--------------
RemoteAccess v2.0x SYSINFO.BBS file re-creator
Copyright John Kristoff, 1994. All rights reserved.
------------
Introduction
------------
If you've just hosed your SYSINFO.BBS file or recently switched
to RemoteAccess from another BBS program, you may want to reset
the number of total system calls the BBS reports. This utility
will quickly, easily and safely re-create this information for
you.
-----------
Quick Start
-----------
CAUTION: If you have an existing SYSINFO.BBS file, make a backup
copy before running SYSCALLS!
SYSCALLS can get the path to the RemoteAccess system directory,
where the SYSINFO.BBS file should be stored, by reading the
environment variable set to "RA".
If SYSCALLS cannot find the "RA" environment variable, it looks
in the current directory for a SYSINFO.BBS file.
If the SYSINFO.BBS file doesn't exist, it will attempt to re-create
a new one for you.
The syntax for SYSCALLS is as follows:
SYSCALLS calls ["username"]
calls is the new number of total system calls. You may
input any interger number from 0 to 2,147,483,647.
"username" is an optional argument specifying the new lastcaller
to the system. Enclose the username in quotes. If
you do not specify a username, the old username will
remain. If you're creating a brand new SYSINFO.BBS
file, and no "username" argument is specified, a
default name of "System Operator" will be used.

Closing
-------
SYSCALLS is free for use, abuse or misuse. Please be smart and
make backups before touching important data files. If you find
bugs or a case for improvement, I have included the source code so
you could apply them yourself. If you do make changes, or if
you'd like to but can't, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks and
take care.
