  8. To install Lister, copy the files lister.exe and lister.hlp to your 
  9. Windows installation directory.  Then, open the File Manager and the 
  10. Program Manager.  Set the File Manager to the Windows installation
  11. directory, and the Program Manager to the group you want to contain
  12. Lister.  (Startup is a good choice.)  Using the mouse, drag LISTER.EXE 
  13. from the File Manager to the group window in the Program Manager.
  14. The Lister icon should appear in the Program Manager group window.
  15. Using the Properties... command in the Program Manager's File menu,
  16. set Lister to run minimized.

  18. Of course, many other setups are possible.  However, if you set Lister
  19. up as given, the Lister icon will appear each time you start Windows.
  20. To print a file, drag it from the file manager to the Lister icon.

  22. Activating the Lister icon displays the Lister control panel.  
  23. You can press the Help button for further instructions on operating 
  24. Lister.  This help is quite extensive for a small, free program.  It
  25. includes setup recommendations and troubleshooting information.

  27. This version of Lister has fixed several small problems with the prior 
  28. version (1.02).  In addition, it has the ability to print files in the 
  29. OEM character set; this will prove useful for printing non-English files
  30. created with DOS text editors.
