- ** NIBBLER **

-
-
- NIBBLER is a distant relative of the
-
- Pac-Man (tm) series of games. You
-
- control a little worm-like creature.
-
- Guide your little worm through a maze
-
- that is complete with the worm's
-
- favorite food, namely, asterisks!
-
- You are racing against the clock.
-
- You also have to keep the little worm
-
- from biting his own tail (it seems
-
- that he is not really that particular
-
- about what he eats)! Sounds easy?
-
- The real problem is that when your
-
- little worm gobbles down an asterisk
-
- (some people feel that this worm food
-
- is really ancient debris from some
-
- unknown 'asteriskoid'), it sets up a
-
- chain reaction inside your little pet.
-
- Experts say that because the
-
- asterisks taste SO! good, they tickle
-
- the tastebuds of the little worm.
-
- This tickling creates a series of
-
- vibrations within the worm that cause
-
- the worm to increase in length.
-
- The point value of the asterisks
-
- increases according to the level. The
-
- highest level is 'I' which gives you
-
- 90 points per asterisk.
-
- NIBBLER moves faster every time you
-
- complete a level, even after the I-th
-
- level. This makes the game a little
-
- easier at first, but eventually
-
- NIBBLER will move uncontrollably fast
-
- and you will find yourself hard
-
- pressed to control the little bugger.
-
- NIBBLER will work with the joystick
-
- in either port, but if it is in Port 1
-
- when the game prompts you to press a
-
- key, you can press the fire-button
-
- instead. When the game is over and
-
- the game tells you to insert a coin,
-
- simply press the 'C' key to play
-
- again.
-
- {$ea}** NOTE ***
- Because of the nature of this
- program it does NOT return to
- LOADSTAR. After playing NIBBLER, you
- must turn your computer off before
- trying to run anything else.
