ROTATION TAG FOR THE C-128
by
Bruce Jaeger
COMMODORE MICROCOMPUTERS MAGAZINE
May/June, 1986
p.86
**************************************
NOTE: This program is written for the
Commodore 128. Because of this, you
cannot run it directly from LOADSTAR.
To run the program, simply turn your
128 off, then back on. This should
put you in 128 mode. After this,
all you need to do is type
DLOAD"TAG.128". When the READY
prompt appears, type RUN and press
RETURN.
**************************************
Playing ROTATION TAG seems simpler
than it is. But you should expect a
few curve balls when playing a game
that combines features from the game
of tag with some of the rules of pool.
Seven numbered billiard balls. No
problem. The seven balls move at
random across your screen. Piece of
cake. You must maneuver your white
cue ball with your joystick to touch
each of the balls-- in numerical
order in the two minutes allotted.
Hmm... sounds a little tricky. If you
hit a ball out of order, you are
penalized points. Negative scores ARE
possible. Sound hopeless yet?
ROTATION TAG may be hopeless, but
it is certainly challenging and
entertaining. And you DO have some
things going for you. For example,
the number of the next ball you should
hit is displayed at the top of the
screen while you are playing, as well
as the time remaining and your point
totals.
To begin the game, make sure you
have your joystick plugged in and
press "P". Pressing "Q" will quit
the game. Also, ROTATION TAG will
record the name and score of the
highest scoring player.
