  14. The first version of the mys-adventure didn't have the pseudo-
  15. sophisticated babble about the various architectural styles found in
  16. the Abbey.  Calhoon always liked to give the impression that
  17. "exhaustive research had been done, but rarely had the energy to look
  18. "any further than his own modest library of unusual, often subversive,
  19. literature.  And even then he preferred to just make things up as he
  20. went along.
