-- FUZION --
--------
If you are a Tetris fan and find Rubic's cube fascinating then get ready
for the in-between realm of Fuzion. The object of Fuzion is to fit
together twelve geometrically unique pieces in a colorful puzzle. Each
puzzle piece is formed by joining together five squares along the edges.
The twelve pieces used in the game comprise all possible arrangements.
Since there are five squares per piece and twelve pieces, they should fit
on a board grid with exactly sixty squares; this makes it possible to
solve rectangular 6X10, 5X12, 4X15, 3X20 and other boards.
Controls allow you to easily select, rotate, flip-over, slide, and edit
the pieces on the board screen. There are 2339 known solutions to the 6X10
board so it may seem easy to fit a solution together, but it is quite
tough finding even one.
Or... let your computer show-off by switching into automatic mode and
solutions will pop-up in a matter of seconds! While in auto, watch
arrangements flash by as the CPU races through its search algorithm or
jump to warp speed for the fastest completion. Start an auto search after
manually placing as many pieces as you can then interrupt, modify, and
restart the search at any time. Included is a library with over 100
solutions which can be displayed and retrieved to the manual board as
starting points. The library grows as each new solution you find is saved.
In addition to basic puzzle solving there are also several derived
games. In Zurvivors you place six pieces in an arrangement that hopefully
will be part of a solved puzzle. Your six pieces are randomly selected at
the start of a turn and can not be changed. Give it your best shot then
start the computer on an auto solution search with your base. You receive
points for each piece left where you placed it in the final solution.
The object of Knozone is to place the pieces you select so that your
opponent can not place any of the remaining pieces. There is a lot of
flexibility with the first few moves, but plan ahead or you will get
squeezed out of the last move. The round winner receives points for each
piece left unplaced.

rules, enhanced features, pentomino theory (the basis for Fuzion), new
releases, and registration.
