  4. What is it ?
  5. ------------

  7.   League Tracker is a Windows program that allows you to track one or
  8.   more Football league tables through the season. You can track your
  9.   own tables (local league for example) or the four English tables
  10.   provided.
  11.  
  12.   League Tracker also allows you to predict the results of future
  13.   matches and analyse their impact on league table positions. You can
  14.   also record the details of non-league matches.
  15.  
  16. How much does it cost ?

  19.   League Tracker is Freeware. You are free to use it and pass it on
  20.   to others without charge.
  21.  
  22. What do I need to run it ?
  23. --------------------------

  25. Ltrack version 3.2 will ONLY run under Windows 95 or Windows NT. It
  26. will NOT run under Windows 3.1 or OS/2.
  27.  
  28. Version 1.6 is available (with less function) for Windows 3.1 users.
  29.  
  30. Ltrack 3.2 will read files saved with version 1.6 and above of Ltrack.
  31. It will NOT read files from version 1.5 or earlier.

  33.  NOTE : If your copy of Ltrack was provided on a magazine cover CD, you
  34.         may have problems after installing it on your hard disk. After
  35.         copying the files to your hard disk, make sure that the .div
  36.         files are NOT marked as Read-Only. To do this, select the files
  37.         in Explorer, and select properties from the right-click menu, 
  38.         then make sure Read-Only is unselected.

  40. Installation
  41. ------------

  43.   If you received Ltrack on a floppy disk, you can install the program
  44.   using the supplied setup program.
  45.  
  46.   To save space, the setup program is not included in the ltrack Zip file
  47.   available as a download.

  49.   To perform a manual install, follow the following procedure:
  50.  
  51.   1. Create a new directory for League Tracker on your hard disk and
  52.      copy the Ltrack files to it. The files provided are:
  53.  
  54.        LTRACK32.EXE - League Tracker executable
  55.        LTRACK.HLP   - Help file
  56.        LTRACK.CNT   - Help contents
  57.        DIV0.DIV     - 97/98 Premier Division data file
  58.        DIV1.DIV     - 97/98 Division 1 data file
  59.        DIV2.DIV     - 97/98 Division 2 data file
  60.        DIV3.DIV     - 97/98 Division 3 data file
  61.        PREM94.DIV   - Premier Division for 94/95
  62.        PREM95.DIV   - Premier Division for 95/96
  63.        PREM96.DIV   - Premier Division for 96/97
  64.        README.TXT   - This file

  66.   2. Create a shortcut for Ltrack. 
  67.  
  68.      a. Right click on the desktop to display the pop-up menu.
  69.      b. Select NEW and Shortcut
  70.      c. Enter the path to ltrack32.exe in the command line edit box
  71.         (eg. c:\ltrack\ltrack32.exe) and click next.
  72.      d. Enter the title, eg Ltrack 3.2 and click finish

  74. Running Ltrack
  75. --------------

  77. Ltrack now has full online help available. Just hit F1 at any time to
  78. display help information about the current window or dialog.
