OK, my first piece of GimmickWare.
Also my first ever program on a Psion 3, so if you find any bugs, or know
better ways of doing bits, please let me know for future reference.
This proglett lets you edit a program's icon on the PSION in a zoomed
window. Something may already exist to do this, but I havn't spotted one
that is as simple as this one.
I've provided it as an OPL program, coz that is nicer than a lump that you
can't customize (other programmers please note!). No version number, coz I
don't intend changing it.
Copy the ICONEDIT.OPL file to \OPL\ and the BLANK.PIC to \OPD\ then just
translate the .OPL file and add it with PSION-J from the SYSTEM screen.
Only one bug known: Every now and then it reads in the bitmap you specify,
then then 'gPEEKLINE W1%,a%,b%,d%(),1' in 'zoom::' returns all ones, and
thinks you have a solid black bitmap !
Press PSION-Esc, rerun and it's fine ! Any ideas ? Have I missed something
obvious in the 30 mins I spent reading the manual ?
Anyway, all suggestions, criticisms and comments both welcome and appreciated.
Cheers,
JasonS (@Cix)
