  1. Editorial - QFN 16 / November 1994.

  4. Welcome to issue 16 of the newsletter, the first to appear
  5. as a fully multi-tasking application on the Arcon platform.
  6. QFN will also continuing on paper, as few QFN subscribers
  7. have access to an Acorn.
  8.  
  9. This application has been 12 months in the making and thanks
  10. go Ian Scott of Sounds Riscy for the coding. Graphics,
  11. Templates and everything else by QFN editor David Parr.
  12.  
  13. If you would like to subscribe and get regular issues of
  14. this newsletter, (Winter/Spring/Summer/Autumn), see the
  15. prices and address, accessed via the icon bar.
  16.  
  17. Do the following:

  19. 1. Click the middle mouse button over the QFN 'crown' logo
  20.    situated on the icon bar.
  21.  
  22. 2. Move the pointer up & right over the word 'subscription'.
  23.  
  24. 3. The current costs/etc will be displayed.
  25.  
  26. 4. Depending where you live in the world will determine
  27.    the number of issue you receive for the cost.
  28.  
  29. 5. Clicking the toggle icon (top right of the subscription
  30.    window) will display the QFN address.
  31.  
  32. EXTRA
  33. -----
  34. You can of course subscribe for extra by doubling the fee.
  35. All fees must be in multiples of £5, unless you send in a
  36. Europcheque (Europe only), in which case you can pay for
  37. extra issues on top of a normal subscription. Each extra
  38. issue is £2. ie a European subscription is £5 for 3 issues,
  39. but if you want to subscribe for 1 year and get all 4 issues
  40. it's £2 extra. ie the total would be £7.

  44. For more information, especially payment for overseas
  45. subscribers (who can get single issues by sending me PD) see
  46. the 'Help' file inside the QFN application.
  47. (Hold down SHIFT and double-click on the QFN icon in the
  48. Filer window - NOT icon bar one. Or use menu over the 'QFN'
  49. icon in a filer).

  51. Or read the application 'QFN Soft' which details all Queen
  52. software available from the QFN address. 'QFN Soft' is
  53. located inside the 'Misc' section of this application -
  54. click 'Return To Main Menu' on the 'Contents' page to see
  55. the Misc icon, (once in the application). 
  56.  
  57. No QFN applications are PD, although 'APDL', 'The DataFile'
  58. and 'The Arm Club' have demo versions of all QFN Software,
  59. but it may cost you the same to get a demo as it would to
  60. get the full version current version direct from the QFN
  61. address.

  63. PD EXCEPTION
  64. ------------
  65. QFN (this newsletter and subsequent releases) will only be
  66. come PD three months after the cover/issue date. To locate
  67. the date of this or other any releas, click menu over the
  68. 'Main' or 'Contents' page(s) and move across to the 'Info'
  69. section. The issue number and cover date are at the bottom.

  78.   that section, then choose a section of the mag from there.
