QUIZ
===========================================================================
This issues quiz is set by Max Fuller who is offering a
couple of great black and white photographs (8 x 10 inch)
from the late 1970's.
I might even frame them for the lucky winner but, no
promises yet!
If you thought the crossword in QFN 15 was difficult, this
one seems worse on first sight but once you realise what's
to be done it's relatively simple (ish).
Answers to be received no later than January 15th 1995.
So you'll all have something to do over the Christmas
holidays!
Oh and before I forget, have a Happy Christmas. I'm sure you
all will. Especiallay all the subscribers who sent cards to
the QFN office - thanks.
The following are all clues to Queen or related song titles.
Each title fits into the grid in a clockwise spiral, with no
spaces. The last letter of each title is the first letter of
the next. The first letter of some of the titles is given.
Re-arrange the letters you place in the 'blank' (ie
unshaded) into something Queen related, not necessarily a
song title. Good Luck.
The Grid is inside the Misc directory accessed via the
initial page of this application.
The questions:
1 W This song has a 'fast' version.
2 U A side to 'Soul Brother'
3 E Catalogue number- Mercury 72977
4 - Freddies vocal cut from the single release
5 E Composed by Roger for use in a film.
6 - Opened the 'White side'
7 - 157 Synthesizers.
8 - 12 inch featured ' Two sharp Pencils '
9 - Wet track from 'The Miracle' album.
10 - 'When your whole world is stinkin...'
11 D Dedicated to...
12 - Single promo not on 'Greatest Flix II'
13 - Brian played harp on this track
14 - Released on B sides sung by Freddie and Montserrat
15 - On the 'Barcelona' album.
16 O Inspired by 'Live Aid' ?
17 - One of two Roger's creations on 'Blue Rock'.
18 - 'What do you do?' , we answer: 'you can ...'
19 - Fourth track on third solo album.
20 - UK. B side to 'Tie your Mother Down'.

QFN 15 Crossword
----------------
First of all I apologise for a couple of small error that
crept into the crosssword in the last issue. I hope it
didn't spoil it too much for anyone. However it didn't stop
the actual crossword drawing the largest response so far.
Was it because it actually looked good? I thought so. Could
you do something similar? Or compile a Queen quiz? Write in
if you can - thanks.
Only a handful of entries were totally correct and the lucky
winner is Michelle Morton from London. She wins a 7" vinyl
copy of the Cross single, (and non-album track) Manipulator.
Congratulations Michelle, it's in the post!
The prize was donated by the crossword compiler Nathan
Mathers who is also the editor of a new Queen magazine
dedicated to collectors, it's called aptly enough 'The Queen
Collectors Magazine'. Each month it's packed with rarities
and bargains alike. If there's anything missing from your
collection, then why not write to Nathan enclosing £1 and
you'll recieve a copy of the current issue with details of
subscription too. The address is:
