  17. This package provides an NFSS2 setup which declares PostScript
  18. fonts, and the associated style files. 
  19.  
  20. Style files are offered to set documents in the common PostScript
  21. fonts, plus exotica like Lucida Maths.  Lucida Bright is also
  22. supported. It is assumed that the user uses a driver which understands
  23. virtual fonts, and that Karl Berry's naming scheme is followed.

  25. I have included new font metric and virtual font files for PostScript
  26. fonts, for those who wish to use EC encoding.  These will only work if
  27. you use dvips.

  29. Installation
  30. ------------

  32. Please run psnfss2.tex through your current LaTeX, and read the
  33. result. After following instructions there and installing their chosen
  34. setup, all installers should run test0.tex through \LaTeX\ and print
  35. the result, to ensure that things are more or less working.  test1.tex
  36. will exercise your supply of PostScript fonts. test2.tex looks at mixing
  37. of encodings, and will only run if you created both OT1 and T1 .fd
  38. files for your fonts. pitest shows Zapf Dingbats and Symbol fonts.
