  5. But it is no Public Domain. It is in copyright,
  6. so you are not allowed to change it; so you get
  7. what the maker meant with it. Often it is more 
  8. reliable than Public Domain, as you will understand!

  10. A Freeware maker keeps his/her product under 
  11. control and the maker is the one to decide who
  12. is allowed to distribute the software; he/she 
  13. might even forbid distribution!
  14.  
  15. Freeware can be compared to flying a balloon: 
  16. the maker tries to focus attention to himself by
  17. means of his product.
