Command: Display/Modes/VGA-MCGA Low < DMVL >
Purpose: Select low-res MCGA graphics mode for displays
Information:
In this mode, your system can display 320 dots horizontally
and 200 dots vertically. This means up to 320 warp by 200
weft with Mag. Zoom Level =0.
With Mag. Zoom = 1, a Horizontal factor of 10 with a
Vertical factor of 9 will provide nearly square blocks.
6:5 is slightly less effective.
All 16 colors are available. You can change the VGA palette
by pressing a function key while the weaving is displayed.
Comments:
This mode is the same addressable resolution as CGA low-res;
however, it can show 16 colors from a palette of 262,144,
and each line is "double-scanned," i.e. 400 actual dots.
The background color can be any of the 16 colors, but
must be set prior to the display with Display/Graphics/
Background. Once selected, the VGA palette can be adjusted
for the background color like any other color.

Command: Display/Modes/VGA/High < DMVH >
Purpose: Select High-res MCGA monochrome graphics for displays
Information:
In this mode, your system can display 640 dots horizontally
and 480 dots vertically. This means up to 640 warp by 480
weft with Magnification Zoom = 0.
With various Mag. Zoom levels, maintain a 1:1
Horizontal:Vertical ratio for square blocks.
Comments:
The background color can be any of the 16 colors, but
must be set prior to the display with Display/Graphics/
Background. Once selected, the VGA palette can be adjusted
for the background and foreground colors while the weaving
is displayed.
