Command: Edit/Warp/Edit < EAE >
Purpose: Scrollable grid-based threading editor
Information:
This presents the warp editor window available through
Edit/Weaving. The pattern draft is also shown, but window
priority is given to the threading harnesses. With a
CGA system, up to 18 harnesses are displayed; VGA/EGA
systems can show all 32 in 50/43-line mode.
Comments:
The size of the windows is determined dynamically upon each
entry to the editor, based on the number of harnesses in use.

_______________________________________________________________
Command: Edit/Warp/Change < EAC >
Purpose: Change threading numerically.
Information:
The current warp range determines the threads presented for
change. You can select within that range with the Up/Dn
arrow keys.
Comments:
Combined Numeric mode causes numeric color and symbol
prompts to alternate with the threading prompts.
Display/Color Weave must be on for color number prompts.
Display/Text Options/Warp Multi-Symbol must be on for symbol
number prompts.

_______________________________________________________________
Command: Edit/Warp/Repeat < EAR >
Purpose: Copy a range of threading.
Information:
Warp Range does NOT affect this feature. You must provide
the source and destination locations.
Repeated threads can be added, inserted, or overwrite
existing threads.
Color and symbol numbers are always copied along with the
threading.
Comments:
There is NO undo for overwriting threads; you will be
cautioned before the feature completes the operation.
It is a good idea to save versions of your weaving as you
work, so you can undo experiments that don't work out.

_______________________________________________________________
Command: Edit/Warp/Insert < EAI >
Purpose: Insert a range of new warp threads.
Information:
New threads are unthreaded, i.e., use Harness 0, and are
inserted in the current single warp color and symbol/size 1.
Use Edit/Warp/Change or Edit/Warp/Edit or Edit/Weaving to
thread the "blank" warp.
Comments:
You can use the INSert key to insert single threads on the
grid editors.
Inserting threads increases the current warp size.
To add threads to the end of the warp, use Edit/Warp/Size.

_______________________________________________________________
Command: Edit/Warp/Delete < EAD >
Purpose: Delete a range of warp threads.
Information:
Deleting threads reduces the current warp size. Threads
beyond the deleted threads are moved to close the gap.
Comments:
You can use the DELete key to delete single threads on the
grid editors.
To remove threads from the end of the weaving, use
Edit/Warp/Size

_______________________________________________________________
Command: Edit/Warp/Size < EAS >
Purpose: Reduce or increase warp limit; edit if increased
Information:
Similar to Insert/Delete except edit threads are at end of
warp only.
If you increase the warp limit, this feature calls the
threading editor--either grid or numeric based on grid
toggle.
Comments:
The Size of a weaving is the number of threads saved to
diskette. The current warp range does not affect the
content of the file. Range is limited by Size.
The editors' Insert/Delete keys also change weaving Size.

_______________________________________________________________
Command: Edit/Warp/Find and Replace < EAF >
Purpose: Change threading harnesses in a warp range
Information:
Allows you to change all threading within a specified range
from one harness to another.
Comments:
Colors and symbols are not changed.

_______________________________________________________________
Command: Edit/Warp/Exchange < EAX >
Purpose: Exchange threading harnesses in a warp range
Information:
Allows you to swap two specified threading harnesses for
one another within a specified warp range.
Comments:
Colors and symbols are not exchanged.

_______________________________________________________________
Command: Edit/Warp/New Warp < EAN >
Purpose: Erase threading and start new warp
Information:
New Warp uses the current editing mode, grid or numeric,
controlled by Edit/Modes/Grid-Checkerboard.
Combined Numeric mode adds color and symbol prompts to
numeric threading entry.
Comments:
New Warp is like Edit/Warp/Edit or Edit/Warp/Change except
the current warp threading, colors, and symbols are erased
before editing.
Warp range is reset to total warp.
Grid editing keys are displayed with the <?> help key while
editing.
