I%1, cup, butter, softened at room temperature
I%1/2, lb, cream cheese, softened at room temperature

I%1, cup, english walnuts, chopped
I%1/2, cup, sugar

R% Mix together butter, cream cheese, and salt until creamy. Mix in
R%flour. Form into 14 balls and chill overnight.

R% Roll each ball into a 6" circle on a lightly floured cloth or wax
R%paper. Cut each into quarters.

R% Mix nuts, sugar, and cinnamon together. Drop rounded teaspoons of
R%mixture onto each quarter. Pinch together edges of dough to form
R%crescents.
R%
R% Bake on a ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees until light brown,
R%about 12 minutes.

R% Makes about 60 cookies.
