  1. MICROWAVE RHUBARB BETTY

  5. I%4, cups, rhubarb, sliced (about 1 pound)
  6. I%1, cup, sugar
  7. I%1/2, tsp, cinnamon
  8. I%4, oz, bread, cubed (4 slices)
  9. I%1/4, cup, margarine
  10. I%1/2, tsp, cinnamon, (for sprinkling)
  11. I%4, cups, cream, light

  14. R%  Combine rhubarb, bread cubes, sugar, and cinnamon in large bowl and
  15. R%mix well.  Spoon into a 1 quart glass casserole, mounding the mixture
  16. R%in the center of the casserole dish.

  18. R%  Microwave (high).  The margarine in a glass dish for 1/2 to 1 minute
  19. R%or until melted.  Drizzle over the rhubarb mixture.  Sprinkle lightly
  20. R%with additional cinnamon.

  22. R%  Microwave (high), uncovered, 10 to 11 minutes or until the rhubarb
  23. R%is tender.  Serve warm with plenty of light cream.
