  1. GROUND BEEF CHOP SUEY

  5. I%1/2, lb, ground beef
  6. I%1, lg, onion, chopped
  7. I%1, c, celery, cut in strips
  8. I%2, T, salad oil
  9. I%2 1/2, c, bean sprouts, canned-drained
  10. I%1 1/2, c, beef bouillon
  11. I%1/2, c, mushrooms, sliced
  12. I%1, T, cornstarch
  13. I%1, T, salt
  14. I%1/4, c, soy sauce
  15. I%5, c, white rice, cooked
  16. I%1/4, c, water

  19. R%     Heat the oil in a large skillet.  Brown the hamburger, onion,
  20. R%and celery in the oil.  Drain the fat.
  21. R%     Add the bean sprouts, consomme, and mushrooms.
  22. R%     Mix the cornstarch with 1/4 c. water and add.  Cook and stir
  23. R%for 10 minutes.  Add the salt and the soy sauce.  Stir.
  24. R%     Serve on hot cooked rice with additional soy sauce.
