  187. 1. CREATING A NEW CARD:
  188.              Use the
  189. "New Card" button on each card ----or-----
  190. Command-"N"-Tab on the 
  191. keyboard.    The button automatically places the "I" beam in the "Disk Name" box while the keyboard requires the tab.                                     
  192.  
  193. 2. ENTERING DATA:
  194.             Type the
  195. disk name then "Tab" to
  196. "Contents".  After each entry in "Contents" use 
  197. "Return" to drop down to the next line until you are done with "Contents", then "Tab" to "Description"and follow the same procedure.  If you have to
  198. "Tab" back to a  field that
  199. contains text--TO SAVE THE
  200. TEXT YOU MUST MOVE THE POINTER WHERE YOU WANT TO BEGIN TYPING & CLICK,
  201. anything else will delete
  202. the text.

  204. 3. DESCRIPTION & MISC. INFO. Columns:
  205.        Use your own
  206. words in describing the programs you have listed under "Contents" as many times you will be looking for a paticular program but can't remember the name.  You may however remember a key word that describes it and you can use THAT word to locate it with the "Finder" button.

  208. 4.  LAUNCH APPLICATION:
  209.          When you have
  210. located the program on a particular disk that shows up on your screen, insert the disk in your Mac.  Click
  211. the "Launch Program"
  212. button and a message box will appear asking " Where
  213. is Program" - Click "DRIVE"--locate progam on disk
  214. and open without leaving
  215. HyperCard.
  216.  
  217. 5:  "ADD TO HOME" button:
  218.            Clicking this
  219. button automatically puts
  220. the "DiskManager" icon on
  221. your Home Card.  To install
  222. the icon, you must be on the Authoring level.  After
  223. installing you may return 
  224. to your previous level.
