FS-PEI-1.ZIP
README.DOC
For anyone who may be interested in taking a Flight
Simulator trip around Prince Edward Island I offer my collection
of 3 airports in this province. I have also done some work on
Nova Scotia and Newfoundland (FS-NS-1.ZIP, FS-NF-1.ZIP) . New
Brunswick is presently under construction. (FS-NB-1.ZIP) These
files replace and supplement my earlier collection - FS4-EAST.ZIP
(May,1992) - refer whatnew.doc.
Some of these files are big and run slowly but if you
have a 386 machine seem to work fine. Scenery borders flow
reasonably smoothly - or at least they have for me. All files
have been enhanced with "SEE04".
Anyone familiar with the Maritimes will quickly
recognize that I've used imagination in places, but I think there
is enough here that everyone will find familiar things.
I've not had any problems with any of the files, but as
usual for these things cannot accept responsibility for how they
may behave on your machine.
There are two separate scenery areas covering 3
airports. The file Airports.Doc contains locations,
logistics,etc.. For fun I've imagined 16 "scenarios" involving
PEI/NS and they are included as Flt-plan.txt. However you will
need either FS4-EAST or the new FS-NS-1.ZIP files to make use of
all of them. In flights ranging from 30 to 50 minutes they will
take you to all of the included airfields. Each airfield has its
own startup mode and dynamic scenery. A common communications
frequency of 126.2 in all files will give you the information you
need during your flight.
Suggestions are always welcome. Drop me a line either
on CRS on Flight 642.
If anyone would like a printed copy of the Airport.doc
file, I would be happy to send you one - just leave me a message
with your address.
Enjoy!
