DWDICE 1.00 05/04/91 - DreamWare DICE Page 1
The Simple Description
======================
DWD1, or DWDICE is a simple, easy to use "Dice Roller" for
Computer Users and RPG Players. The program is a "swapping" TSR
(for Terminate-and-Stay-Resident)...that stays in memory and is
accessable "on demand". Especially useful for calling up when you
are in your Word Processor creating great prose.
The Simple Instructions
=======================
DWDICE is easy to install. At your DOS prompt, do:
C> DWD1 <enter>
That will install the program. To remove the program from memory,
do:
C> DWD1 <enter>
That's right, the same command...if it's loaded, it unloads, if
it's not loaded, it loads...easy...no parameters to remember!
Once DWDICE is loaded in memory, you activate it by pressing a
special key combination:
Alt-LeftShift-% (Alt-LeftShift-5)
That will "pop-up" the dice roller.

Keys while active
=================
While the Dice Roller is "popped up", the following keys perform
functions:
Arrow keys move around...
Editing keys work like normal...
F2 will "roll"
F3 will clear last roll
F4 will send current roll into key buffer...effectively
"macro"ing it into your word processor...or WHATEVER
program you happen to be running when you pop it up.
Stuff string looks like "99d100=489" (I just did that
with the pop-up..neato!) You can delete any part of
that that you don't need.
Ctrl-LftArrow,Ctrl-RgtArrow,Ctrl-PgUp,Ctrl-PgDN will allow
you to move the window anywhere on screen.
ESC will close pop-up window
It's really very simple.
More Information
================
Since it's a "swapping" TSR, so it'll only take about 6800 bytes
in memory when not popped up...but you'll need at least 230k free
on your disk..the one you load it into memory from.
