  2. DAYO BUSINESS APPLICATIONS                                      13 Jan 1990

  4.       DAYO is a collection of multiuser business applications that provide a
  5.   means of managing inventory, purchasing, invoicing, customers, vendors,
  6.   sales and more... All DAYO products are multiuser, designed to work on a
  7.   Microcomputer (PC) Based Local Area Network (LAN), like Novell (tm). They
  8.   can, however, work as a 'standalone'; running on a single PC.

  10.       To date, large and complex mulituser business applications required Mini
  11.   and Mainframe computers, but because of products like the PC based LAN/
  12.   Network, they can now be run on microcomputers. DAYO is one of the first
  13.   microcomputer based business applications to be designed to handle just such
  14.   a system.

  16.       DAYO Business Applications can grow with your company. The ability to
  17.   upgrade your system is available with the addition of other DAYO products.
  18.   Source to DAYO is also available, thus allowing you to make further
  19.   modifications and enhancements. DAYO Menu and DAYO Clock were written with
  20.   Qbasic (tm); all others were written with Clipper (tm).

  22.       DAYO databases are all dBASE (tm) compatible, thus providing an
  23.   additional or alternative source of support and reporting.

  25.       DAYO was written by TJS LAB, a Software Publishing & Computer Consulting
  26.   Company based in Orlando Florida. Support, Outsourcing, and customizing of
  27.   DAYO is a major function of TJS LAB.

  29.       The Shareware versions of DAYO can be found on many Bulletin Board
  30.   Systems (BBS), ie: Compuserve and GEnie. Shareware versions can also be
  31.   procured for $5.00 (handling), from the following address. The cost for the
  32.   registered versions is only $25.00 each module. A source code license is
  33.   also available (includes the registration cost), for all the modules. The
  34.   cost for source code licenses varies for each of the modules, however, the
  35.   cost is very reasonable (not more than $75.00).

  53.       DAYO INVENTORY is an Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Vendor
  54.   Maintenance application. Use DAYO Inventory to create and maintain an
  55.   inventory of any product. Other features include Reports, Labels, Lists, and
  56.   a Purchasing Graph.

  61.       DAYO POS (Point of Sale), is a Billing and Invoicing application for any
  62.   size business. It is the DAYO module that will allow you to invoice out your
  63.   products while keeping an accurate record of all these 'sales'.  Numerous
  64.   reports are included. Supports a cash drawer too...

  69.       DAYO PRICE BOOK is a system of creating and maintaining specialized
  70.   pricing for your customer/clients. Special pricing includes FIXED,
  71.   MARGIN, and LIST DISCOUNTS.

  76.       DAYO QUOTES is a system of creating Sales Order Quotes based on the DAYO
  77.   Business Application.  Quotes can be printed onto a standard printer or
  78.   print a 'Special' on a Hewlett Packard (tm) Laserjet compatible printer.

  81.   DAYO BACK ORDERS

  83.       DAYO BACK ORDERS is the maintenence module for the processing of all
  84.   your customers/sales backorders. DAYO BO (working with DAYO POS), determines
  85.   and manages the filling of your customers backorders. It does this through
  86.   an allocation process that determines what backordered items are 'fillable'
  87.   because of receipts into the inventory. Creates the same type invoices as
  88.   does DAYO POS.

  93.       DAYO END OF PERIOD/PURGE is an optional DAYO Business Application that
  94.   can be run at the end of the business 'period' (usually at end of the month),
  95.   to 'clean' out deleted/closed invoice, backorder, purchasing, receiving,
  96.   and register records. Creates EOP reports as well.

  99.   DAYO SMART REPORTS

  101.       DAYO SMART REPORTS contain many reports/routines that help you manage
  102.   your purchasing, inventory, invoices, backorders, sales, and your databases.

  107.       DAYO INDEX is a program designed to manage the indexing of the DAYO
  108.   databases. DAYO applications all have multiple indexes, and because it is
  109.   recommended that they be reindexed at least once daily, DAYO Index was
  110.   created to simplify this process.

  114.   AR (ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE)

  116.       DAYO AR is the 'final chapter' to the processing and maintenance of all
  117.   your Receivables. DAYO AR includes routines to handle cash receipts,
  118.   customers, invoice types, terms, taxcodes, sales persons, and more. Many
  119.   reports are included (ie: Ageing, Customer, Sales...). There is a routine
  120.   to print Statements (ie: SMART, 90, 60, 30 days), and another one to create
  121.   and print 'non' standard invoices (not applicable to DAYO POS). HP Laser
  122.   forms are provided as an option for Statements and Invoices.

  125.   AP (ACCOUNTS PAYABLE)

  127.       DAYO AP is the 'final chapter' to the processing and maintenance of all
  128.   your Payables. DAYO AP's key job is to process your purchase orders,
  129.   however, routines have been provided to handle 'other' expenses. The ability
  130.   to print payable or miscellaneous checks has been incorporated in DAYO AP.

  135.       DAYO PASSWORDS provide DAYO Business Application users with a system of
  136.   database security through the use of passwords. Its use is optional, but
  137.   recommended in areas where more than one person has access to the data.

  142.       DAYO MENU is a simple DOS level menu system for use with the DAYO line
  143.   of Business Applications. It consists of a Qbasic (tm) menu program and a DOS
  144.   batch file that you can modify/edit to fit your specific needs.

  149.       DAYO CLOCK is just a simple Clock display and optional Alarm. It can
  150.   also act as a simple job scheduler. Its purpose, originally, was just to be a
