Generally, The Front Office is a menu driven, marketing and
sales productivity (MSP) system that will help improve sales,
business decisions and profits. The Front Office is intended
to increase income through improved marketing and sales
prospecting techniques. It processes sales orders and
payments so balances due, sales taxes, and commissions due
are maintained and reported. It reports supplier purchases
indicating margin/profit, and salesperson commissions
received. This makes TFO a very profitable tool for
Manufacturer's Representatives.
Using various codes, The Front Office defines prospects,
salesmen and suppliers, to do mailings, and to follow-up on
leads. The system manipulates prospective customer
information, leads and quote activity, coded sales records,
call reports, sales orders, and job cost. WordPerfect,
WordStar/MailMerge, PC-Write, MicroSoft Word and Lotus
Manuscript are integrated with The Front Office to produce
letters and envelopes. The Front Office produces letters,
envelopes, labels, and reports selectively by prospect code,
salesperson code, zip code, follow-up date, customer code and
product code for complete flexibility and control.
The prospect file maintains office and region codes. The
sales module maintains performance figures on as many
salespersons as you would like. Sales volume projections are
compared to current production and last year's figures, and
performance reports reflect the percentage of increase or
decrease in earnings. Sales commissions and call reporting
is reported by supplier and/or by salesperson. A supplier or
vendor file is available and is used to report margins, cost
and gross profit on items sold.
Sales tax accounting is included to simplify state sales tax
reporting. You can establish 15 data fields with your own
titles. These User Defined Fields enable searches on any or
all these fields. You can combine your own codes with the
existing code fields giving infinate lookup possibilities.
Sales and profit figures created from sales orders/invoices
for customers or principals enable an easy way to measure
earnings, profits and salesperson performance. Orders also
control shipping information and produce anticipated
commissions and enable the posting and reconciliation of
