  9.         THIS UPLOAD  should contain HALLFAME.EXE, README.EXE and this
  10.         └─────────┘  SYSOP.NOT, plus a FILE_ID.DIZ and the Freeware
  11.         Hall of Fame Logo (which probably got wiped.)

  14.         UPDATES  will always be named HOFmmyy.ZIP and there will
  15.         └─────┘  never be two in one month.  By all means delete any
  16.         old editions when a new one comes along.  Nominations to the
  17.         Freeware Hall of Fame are always encouraged and new editions
  18.         are cumulative, with all the old entries plus the new ones.

  23.         FHOF home board.  Address them to Rey Barry, the compiler of
  24.         the list. Further info on nominations is in the README file.

  31.         SOMETHING FOR  The FHOF now operates a PCB BBS which makes
  32.         │  SYSOPS   │  HOF Freeware programs available to Sysops.
  33.         └───────────┘  Conference 3 has OLHOFn.ZIP which is the entire
  34.         FHOF on-line set of files.  This is yours free to download at
  35.         anytime.  A Directory is included in formats for PCBoard,
  36.         RemoteAccess, QuickBBS, Majic and SuperBBS.

  38.         That's a big download, 4 megs or so, but visiting Sysops are
  39.         given all the time needed. You can use the programs to provide
  40.         a DIR for the ON-LINE FHOF on your Board or disperse the files
  41.         through your file base by type.  It's a free service to all
  42.         sysops.  The FHOF never charges.

  44.         If you are updating a set of On-Line Hall of Fame files you
  45.         already have, look for HFmmddyy.ZIP in Conf 3.  That file has
  46.         everything added or updated to OLHOF since the month/day/year
  47.         in the file name.

  50.         TO GET IT  Our BBS operates 24 hrs a day using a USR DS.
  51.         └───────┘  804-293-4710. Downloads enabled on first call.  30
  52.         minutes for new callers and the OLHOF 4-meg file stops the
  53.         clock during transfer.  J 3 for the FHOF Conference.

  56.         NO ADS OR  We use a FHOF Logo on some files.  You probably
  57.         COMMENTS?  automatically strip such comments off.  So do we on
  58.         └───────┘  uploads to our Board. SOTA today for us all.  We
  59.         request as strongly as possible that no ads, BBS or otherwise,
  60.         be placed in our packets except our notice that these are HOF
  61.         distribution files.  If you ever find someone's ad please let
  62.         us know.  We'll report the offender in future editions of this
  63.         index packet.

  66.         ZIPPED &  Programs are tested, scanned with McAfee's current
  67.         SCANNED?  SCAN, and compressed under maximum compression with
  68.         └──────┘  PKZIP204g before going out. We do not use -AV.
