VENDOR INFORMATION
One Line Description
Time Travel - Time zone calculator program
Long Description
Time Travel is an easy to use time calculator program. It requires
Microsoft Windows 3.1. The shareware version allows the user to convert
time from and to anywhere in North and South America. User can print or
display origin time, destination time and time difference.
DISTRIBUTION POLICY
I encourage distribution of this program through any type of media.
Rack vendors should contact me first for permission.
PROGRAM FEATURES
* Contains locations for all of North and South America
* Calculates time difference between two locations
* Prints and displays origin time, destination time, and time
difference
* User can reset orgin and destination location as many times as
needed
* Ability to control entire program with keyboard or mouse
INSTALLATION
No installation is needed, Time Travel can be run straight from a
floppy disk. However, it is much faster when run from a subdirectory on
a hard drive. I suggest copying it to your C:\WINDOWS directory, or a
subdirectory under it.
The only requirment for running Time Travel is that it requires
VBRUN200.DLL. You will usually have this file on your computer.
USING TIME TRAVEL
Time Travel is very easy and simple to use.
When Time Travel first comes up it displays a messgae:
Select the Country and City nearest your local time, then
click on OK
Select a country from the list box on the left side of the window. If
the country is in more than one time zone, a list of cities will pop
up and one may be selected from that list. If one is not selected, the
program will default to the capital of the country. After you have
selected your country and/or city, click on OK, and that location and
the current time (computer's time), will be displayed at the bottom of
the window. The display may look somewhat like this:
Current time in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: 6:15 PM Wed
Now select the city and country to convert to.
Select the country and/or city in the same way as the orgin location was
selected. It works in exactly the same way. After that has been done,
click on OK. Now the display will look like this:
Current time in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: 6:15 PM Wed
Current time in Albany, NY, USA: 4:15 PM Wed
Time Difference: -2 hours, 0 minutes
The second line shows the destination location, and time. The third
line is the time difference to convert the time from the origin to the
destination.

SHAREWARE
Shareware is software marketed on a "Try before you buy" basis.
The price per disk that Shareware distributors charge is a
distribution fee and not the price of the software. Shareware
authors have agreed to allow vendors to recover expenses for copying,
packaging, and maintaining a shareware library. This allows you to
obtain software programs at incredibly low prices to try, then pay
the registration price for them only if they suit your needs. The
idea is that after a reasonable trial period, if you find the
programs to be of use, you are expected to send the author the
registration fee.
Registration entitles you to various rights and benefits. These
range from the legal (and moral) right to continue using the
software. In addition many shareware authors offer printed
documentation and/or higher levels of service and support. Unlike
Public Domain software, which is free to everyone with no fees asked
for or expected, shareware programs exist because the authors expect
and deserve the registration support from people who use their
programs.
So that's Shareware. If you like it, support it!
REGISTRATION
The shareware message will not be displayed on any registered
version of Time Travel. Registered users will receive the latest
registered version of Time Travel. The registered version contains time
time zones for the entire world. To register, send 5$ to:
