Day 156 - 17 Jul 95 - Page 09

five, six people week in week out that were rotating. So,
it was like a group of 10 that knew of the jackets that
       were only doing deliveries.

  Q. How did you know that they knew of the gloves?
       A. Because I told them.

  Q. How long did it take you to get this delivery team sorted
       out?
       A. I could not honestly tell you.

  Q. Are we talking about a couple of months or are we talking
       about a year?
       A. Only a couple months at the most.

  Q. So if Mr. Magee was doing deliveries at some stage after he
started in November 1986, he must have been on the delivery
       team?
       A. Not necessarily.

  Q. So people other than those on the delivery team did do
       deliveries from time to time?
       A. No, that is the whole point of having the delivery team
with enough people to cover your three deliveries per week,
so no-one else never had to actually go and do a delivery.

  Q. So if Mr. Magee did do deliveries, he must have been on the
       delivery team?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Right.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Were they all men?
       A. As far as I am aware, yes.

MS. STEEL: You said in paragraph 41 of your second statement
that Magee is also incorrect when he says at page 19 that
he never received instructions or training to deal with
emergencies such as fire; "All employees have to take a
fire, health and safety test during the course of their
orientation which takes place before they start work in the
restaurant." So, your basis for saying that he must be
wrong about whether he got trained is that it is Company
policy to have training on that matter?
       A. Yes, from day one on orientation they would have
instructions on those sort of scenarios, yes.

  Q. It is not that you personally remember training Mr. Magee?
       A. Oh, no.

  Q. Or anything like that?
       A. No.

  Q. You do not have any of the forms or the tests that you have
described that you have kept that show that Mr. Magee did
       take it?
       A. I would not have kept records from 10 years ago from
       Seven Sisters.

  Q. You have defined "hustle" in your statement as moving
