       please?
       A. Yes, it is Paul Martin Gravett.

  Q. And what is your present occupation?
       A. I am an administrative officer for an adult education
       college and part-time student.

MR. RAMPTON: I do not know if I am the only one but my screen
       is not working.

                         (Short Adjournment)

MS. STEEL: I will read through your statement.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Paul Martin Gravett. You have Mr. Gravett's
       occupation, yes.

MS. STEEL: If there is anything that you want to correct or
clarify, then stop me at the end of the paragraph.
Otherwise I will ask you at the end to confirm that it is
       your statement.
       A. Yes.

  Q. Statement of Paul Gravett, 26th July 1993.

"I have been concerned about animal exploitation and the
environment since the early 1980's and was actively
involved in London Greenpeace from 1986-1991. The group
attracted me because it was extremely friendly, flexible
       and undogmatic"?
       A. That is correct.

  Q. "The McDonald's fact sheet was produced by a small group of
people for World Day, 16th October 1986. At this time
between 20-30 people were coming to meetings each week and,
as I was new to the group, I did not know many of them.
The people involved in producing the fact sheet were not
known to me and left the group soon afterwards".
       A. That is correct.

  Q. It was too expensive to hand out the fact sheet on street
demonstrations (London Greenpeace was always in financial
trouble). Various smaller A5 size leaflets were produced
and these were used on pickets as well as being sent
through the post to enquiries, though what leaflets were
sent would be up to the individual answering the letters"?
       A. Yes.

  Q. "I was on the picket of McDonald's headquarters on the 16th
of October 1989 and I do not think any fact sheets were
taken or handed out on that day. Also I do not remember
seeing Helen handing out any leaflets at all."

Seeing as this is about the October 1989 picket, it might
be appropriate to ask a couple of other questions about
       this at this point.
       A. Yes.

  Q. What was your involvement in the October 1989 picket?
       A. Well, my involvement was I went to the office and
