: I just checked out the MS Pinball Arcade page at: http://www.microsoft.com/games/pinball/default.htm : and the tables looks absolutely GREAT! (You almost expect to see cigarette burns on the case!) : These are sims of classic æelectro-mechanicalÆ tables where simple gravity is the driving force. They all exhibit a clear and open field of view; uncluttered by modern ramps, wire tubes, and multi-layers. : All you see is the great artwork, vivid colors, flashing lights and shadows. (I just hope they didnÆt forget the sounds of the bumpers and bells!) : For me, these types of tables are magical in their simplicity. They recall the simple fascination of an electric train under the Christmas tree. Of course I like Timeshock and The Web, (and I canÆt wait for BRUSA), but I know I will be spending a LOT of playtime on these æold-timersÆ.
