Subject: windows98 install problem on some machines

I am a tech. at a computer store I have on occasions run into a problem were I was unable to boot with the windows 98 cdrom. I am suspecting that it the older cd-roms but then why don't dvd cdroms autoboot with the win98 cdrom. I am so frustrated with this as I rarly use a boot disk for my 98 installs I create one for the customer ounce the machine is up and running and thats it. could you email me I would like to know asap please help a poor tech that knows nothing ;)
