Can't you tell Slamtilt not to load 3? It will work with 4 (or 5 for that matter). The drivers are much better behaved now. I had similar problems before and also had to do a considerable amount of yelling!
If it autoinstalls 3 just reinstall 4. Usually it will politely point out that it is tring to install anolder version and ask you whether you want to keep Etc. Slamtilt is my favourite Pin. Have fun.
