Viewing the Log Events Report

The Log Events report allows you to monitor the applet activity of the enterprise. The report generates a chronological list of all SurfinCheck activities, including applets requested, applets blocked, applets origin, times and dates.

This list is useful to survey the level and frequency of Java applet used in the network.

To produce a report:

  1. Click the Reports button on the SurfinConsole toolbar.
  2. Select the Log Events report. (Note that the reports that are disabled are only available in SurfinGate.)
  3. Specify the type of output for the report (window, printer, or export).
  4. Press the Print button.

The applet signature is assigned by SurfinCheck Server (using Finjan's proprietary technology) and is unique to each applet.
