Determine Readiness To determine year 2000 readiness for both your Microsoft operating system and Microsoft software programs (applications): Review the Microsoft Product Information for readiness information about each product in question. Or run the Microsoft Product Analyzer. It will provide the readiness status and the recommended readiness actions for most Microsoft products. For non-Microsoft software, contact the manufacturer of each product you use for information about its year 2000 readiness. And for custom software programs, don't forget to contact the individual or company who created that program for you.
