Ellipse

Use Ellipse to create elliptical and circular splines.

All spline based shapes share the same General Parameters. See Splines for an explanation of these parameters.

Creation Method

The Ellipse shape uses the standard creation methods of Center or Edge. Most spline based shapes share the same Creation Method parameters. See Splines for an explanation of these parameters.

Ellipse Parameters

Once you have created an Ellipse, you can make changes using the following parameters:

Length: Set this to specify the size of the Ellipse along the local Y axis.

Width: Set this to specify the size of the Ellipse local X axis.

How To

To create an Ellipse:

1. Click Ellipse.
2. Choose a creation method.
3. Press to define the first point.
4. Do one of the following:
• Drag to define the second point.
• Press CTRL while dragging to constrain the spline to a circle.
