Clubbed News

27/02/1999 - Issue 2 Gets a Kickstart

17 SEAL members and plenty of copies of Clubbed took a trip to the Second Kickstart Amiga sale on Saturday the 27th of February where a great time was had by all. Every single copy of Clubbed was sold!

28/03/1999 - We now have issue 2 back in stock

Price Increase

After publishing the first issue of Clubbed and calculating our costs we found that we only break even if we sell every copy we print, any we give away to people who have helped us or prominent Amigans come out of our own pocket :(. Even if we do sell every one we don't have any resources to pay for emergencies like equipment breakdown or a sudden rise in printing costs. Therefore we have decided we have to increase the price to put the magazine on a stable footing. The new price is 2.50 per issue (including UK postage, see the Getting Clubbed section for more details), we will of course honour all existing subscriptions.

Even at the new price Clubbed remains a non-profit making publication, we hope that with the combination of the new price and a growing subscriber base we'll be able to add more pages in the future.

At the new price we believe Clubbed is still excellent value for money and hope you will agree.

Payment Options

Cheque

People in the UK can send us a Cheque or Postal order (in pounds sterling, drawn on a UK bank) for the amount shown in the table below. Please make Cheques and POs payable to "South Essex Amiga Link". Unfortunatly we cannot accept cheques in other currencies or drawn on banks out side the UK as they are just too expensive to cash.

Cash

If you want to send money in the post please ensure it is well hidden, we cannot accept liability for cash lost in the post.

Please send cheques or cash to:

Clubbed
26 Wincoat Drive
BENFLEET
Essex, SS7 5AH
ENGLAND

NEW Credit Cards

With the help of a friendly Amiga dealer Forematt Home Computing we can now accept payment for subscriptions on VISA and Mastercard credit cards.

This is an especially good way to subscribe if you are outside the UK as your credit card company will sort out the currency exchange and usually offer a good rate.

If you wish to subscribe using your credit card please give the following information to Formatt Home Computing:

  • Name (as it appears on your credit card)
  • Your full postal address
  • EMail address (if you have one)
  • Telephone number
  • Type of credit card (VISA or Mastercard)
  • Credit card number
  • Card expiry date

You can send this information to Forematt in the following ways:

EMail

sales@forematt.idps.co.uk

FAX/Telephone

+44 (0) 1793 853802

Snail Mail

Forematt Home Computing
PO Box 835
Wootton Bassett
Swindon, SN4 8RX
ENGLAND

Airmail takes about 3 days, surface mail can take up to 12 weeks (eek!), but in our experience only takes up to 6 weeks to Australia so it should be shorter for the rest of the world. We think Royal Mail must be covering their asses for small islands in the Pacific which only have one mail boat a year :).

Protection

If you subscribe and want to cancel your subscription at any time we will happily refund you the full cost of any unsent issues. Similarly if publication of Clubbed is canceled we will refund the remainder of your subscription.

Submission Guidelines
This section is currently under construction. In the mean time if you need any information on submitting articles for Clubbed please EMail the Editor for further information.
