Browse and View makes it easy to distribute your HTML Web pages on a diskette.

All you need to do is place the following files on a blank, formatted diskette...

BROWSER.EXE
BROWSER.MY (this file is only necessary after you pay for the program)
BROWSER.INI (optional)
BROWSER!.DLL

...along with all your HTML and GIF files.

It's that simple! You are now done! Finished! What? You don't believe it is that simple? Then just run BROWSER.EXE from the floppy diskette that you just created and see for yourself!

OK, so I lied. There is one LITTLE requirement I forgot to mention. When you start Browse and View it will attempt to find a file named INDEX.HTM. If this file does not exist, the program will not be able to display anything. So . . . what if your main contents page isn't named INDEX.HTM? The solution is simple:

1) Just create an ASCII text file and name it BROWSER.INI using Windows' Notepad or any text editor.

2) On the very first line, type:

[Settings]

3) On the second line of this file type the name of the file you want Book Browser to start up with in the following format, behind the StartHTML= identifier:

[Settings]
StartHTML=MAIN.HTM
StartWAV=MYWAV.WAV

In other words, if you want Browse and View to automatically open MAIN.HTM when the program starts, then enter MAIN.HTM on line 2 and then save the file.

4) Place the BROWSER.INI file on the diskette, and now you are really finished!
