Can't find imported clips?

When you import clips, you must supply clip property information (such as a description, category, or keywords) in order for you to use Clip Gallery later to search or browse for your imported clips. If you skip adding clip properties at the time you import the clip, you will be able to find the clip in the Lost & Found category. Once you add a description or keyword to that clip, or add that clip to another category, the clip can be found by using the keyword or description or by looking in that category, and will no longer be in Lost & Found.

If you can't find a clip imported by another user on the same computer, this is because the clips you import or change are only visible to you when personal user profiles are enabled. If you do not have profiles enabled, all clips are shared among all of the users of the computer. For more information about user profiles, see Windows Help.
