  1. Packcom.com Ver 0.62 is now on PCEVE

  3. Enhancements include:
  4.  
  5.   - Added two configuration parms that allow delays in the sending of data
  6.     to the TNC.
  7.     - Delay after sending char. to TNC.
  8.         This parm allow the slowing down of data being sent to the TNC.
  9.         Parm default to 0, and repersents milliseconds (1/1000) of delay.
  10.         Max delay is 32 seconds between chars.  (more than enough)
  11.     - Delay after sending carriage-return/line-feed to TNC. 
  12.         This parm allow the slowing down lines of data being sent to the TNC.
  13.         Parm default to 0, and repersents milliseconds (1/1000) of delay.
  14.         Max delay is 32 seconds between lines.

  16. These parms were added to allow file transmissions to be more reliably
  17. sent between the PC and the TNC.  Also I have experienced some problems of
  18. chars. dropping out when sending information to the TNC while in normal
  19. convers mode, so the "Delay after sending char. to TNC" parm applies to the
  20. Keyboard Input area as well as the file transmissions area.

  22. After making the above enhancements the XON/XOFF routines used during Acsii 
  23. transfers were modified.  Now when an XOFF is generated from the TNC, Packcom
  24. immediately stops transmitting.  Previously several chars were able to still
  25. be sent to the TNC, possibly allowing some chars to be lost.

  27. More enhancements to Ascii transfers and the addition of Binary transfers are
  28. planned in the future.
