  1. PackCom.ARC   Version 0.66 is on PCEVE
  2.  
  3. Enhancements Include:
  4.    
  5.    Setting of the Date/Time Stamp clock within the TNC.  This function is 
  6.    preformed during the intial start up of PackCom.  If you TNC does not
  7.    include a DAYTIME cmd or your PC does not no what time it is, then this
  8.    option may be disabled via the Config Parms (alt-I).
  9.  
  10.    A fix to screen blanking on monochrome monitors.  
  11.  
  12.    The Ascii Transfer cmd alt-T, can now be used to send cmds to the TNC.
  13.    Useful for resetting TNC cmd parms or changing them quickly for different
  14.    operating environments.
  15.  
  16.    PackCom's Overlays can now be placed on a ram disk to speed up disk
  17.    access to the overlay portion of the program.  The drive/path where
  18.    the overlays are to be found is controlled by a Configuration Parm.
  19.    The default for this parm is '.', which specifies the drive/path 
  20.    inwhich PackCom was started from.  
  21.       To use a ramdisk (for example drive D:)
  22.          COPY PACKCOM.000 D:
  23.          COPY PACKCOM.001 D:
  24.          Then set PackCom's Configuation Parm for Overlays and set it to 'D:'
  25.             This can be accomplished by using PackCom's alt-I cmd or
  26.             by using the DOS cmd PACKCOM /I
