<li>Create an account for your stock option grants.</li>

<li>On the <emph>Investing</emph> menu, click <emph>Portfolio</emph>.</li>
<li>In the left pane, click <emph>Add an investment</emph>.</li>
<li>When asked what kind of account you want to set up, click <emph>Employee Stock Option</emph>, and then click <emph>Next</emph>.</li>
<li>Follow the instructions on the screen.</li>

<p variant="note">If your company stock has split since your original grant, enter the post-split number of shares and strike prices when setting up the grant.</p>

<li>Click the employee stock option account to open it.</li>
<li>Click <emph>New</emph>.</li>
<li>In the <emph>Investment</emph> box, type a name for the grant, and then click the <emph>Activity</emph> box. Use a unique name for each grant, such as "Stock option grant: November, 2001".</li>
<li>Click <emph>Employee Stock Option</emph>, and then click <emph>Next</emph>.</li>
