  1. S3A COLLECT Version 1.2  READ.ME file

  4. This file is for users of V1.1 who wish to upgrade to V1.2  New users
  5. should use the full instructions.
  6.  
  7. To upgrade from V1.1, replace the old S3ACOLL1.APP file with the
  8. new S3ACOLL2.APP.   
  9.  
  10.     1.    If you want to use the optional On-Line Help (Highly recommended)
  11.           put the file S3ACOLLH.OVL into an \APP\S3ACOLL\ directory.
  12.  
  13.     2.    If you want to use the optional Print option put the file 
  14.           S3ACOLLP.OVL into the \APP\S3ACOLL\ directory and the file
  15.           S3APRINT.DYL into an \OPD\ directory.  Note that this file is
  16.           common to all my programs, so if you have more than one of
  17.           them you only need one copy of this file.

  19. The following enhancements have been added.
  20.  
  21. a.    A proper printing routine based on the official Psion version.  
  22.         This also offers full PSIWIN support.  I think its use is self-explanatory.
  23.  
  24. b.    A proper Help system, integrated with the built-in Help System,
  25.         has been implemented.
  26.  
  27. c.      When you Enter or Update an Item, you have the opportunity to define
  28.         a new Project/Type/Category without leaving the dialog.
  29.  
  30. d.    Some people requested that the fields shown in the Entry/Update dialog
  31.     were just those displayed on the screen.  Select this option from the
  32.     'Set Preferences' menu.
  33.  
  34. e.    Some people liked to stay in the Set Preferences menu until pressing
  35.     Escape.  Again,   Select this option from the 'Set Preferences' menu.
