THE SPECTRUM GAMES DATABASE
MEX
PUBLISHER
Never published but it was in the big game list
AUTHOR
Ian Collier
DESCRIPTION
A clone of the Suntools game Mex, which is based on Tetris.
CONTROLS
The keyboard controls are redefinable.
INSTRUCTIONS
Blocks float down the screen and you can move them left and right
and rotate them. When they are in line you can save time by
dropping them straight into position. The idea is to pack the
shapes in as closely as possible in order to form solid
horizontal lines, which will be removed as soon as they form.
On later levels the game starts being awkward by adding extra
squares at random.
