Command: Edit/Weaving < EW >
Purpose: Door into the Light Weave editor and Loom control
Information:
This the primary editor and includes the Patternland Light
Weave menus. It shows the drawup, threading, and either
harness combinations (lift plan) or treadling with tieup--
depending on whether or not its Weave/Treadle Mode is
selected. If Weave/Weave is selected, the loom control
weaving window is also presented. Editing keys are displayed
by pressing the <?> help key while an edit window is active.
Comments:
The size of the windows is determined dynamically upon each
entry to the editor, based on the number of harnesses or
treadles or tieups in use. If you scroll an editing window
and add more harnesses, the window will be enlarged upon
next entry to the editor. The pattern draft gets equal
demand on window space in Edit/Weaving; in Edit/Weft-Warp/
Edit, the harnesses/treadles get priority.
Three settings in Edit/Modes control background appearance
and character size and squareness.
Display/Color Weave determines if single or multiple colors
are available.
Display/Text Options/Warp-Weft Multi-Symbol determines if
multiple warp and weft symbols are available.
Options/Data/Numbering Warp-Weft determines if numbering
appears in the windows.
Options/Data/Peg Plan Numeric controls whether numbers are
used on the grid/board for data.
The arrangement of windows is controlled by Options/Format.
