Command: Weave/Styles/Format < WSF >
Purpose: Select one of four possible data formats
Information:
The format determines whether the threading and other warp
data are above or below the pattern draft, and whether weft
data is positioned to the left or right. Format also
positions the number lines within the editor windows.
The option also controls the positioning of the Graphics
data displays.
Comments:
Four formats are possible, numbered 1 to 4.

Command: Weave/Styles/Numberlines < WSN >
Purpose: SWITCH--Control inclusion of number lines in editor
Information:
Warp and Weft number lines are displayed in the window
editors when this switch is ON.
If the tieup is shown, number lines demark the treadles and
harnesses too.

Command: Weave/Styles/Numeric < WSU >
Purpose: SWITCH--Show weave data as numbers
Information:
The editors use numbers instead of symbols to represent the
threading, treadling, and tieup.
If Weave/Styles/Wide Blocks is off, numbers above 9 are
represented by the letters A for 10, B for 11, and so on.
With Weave/Styles/Numeric and Wide Blocks both ON, numbers
10 and beyond are displayed as two-digit numbers.

Command: Weave/Styles/Status Line < WSS >
Purpose: SWITCH--Turn editor status line on and off
Information:
The editor Status Line is displayed on the last line of the
screen when it is ON. It monitors and shows the status of
the following:
the Cursor Mode: Smart Cursor or Neutral Cursor
the Cursor Position: Warp/Harness number; Tieup/Harness;
Weft/Treadle; or Weft/Harness.
Kind of Input: Menu Active; Draft; Color; Symbol; or
Color/Symbol.
Draft input mode: OverWrite or Insert On
Copy type: Pure; Mirror Flip; Vertical Flip; or Rotate 180
Color: Single or Working Color
Symbol: Single or Working Symbol
Comments:
Turning off the status line gives one more line to the
editor.

Command: Weave/Styles/Board style grid < WSB >
Purpose: SWITCH--Control grid editing background style
Information:
When Board style grid is ON, the grid/board looks like a
Checkerboard and the pattern fills the squares.
When the switch is OFF, the grid/board is a graph-like grid.
On a VGA or EGA systems the pattern blocks fill in the
squares, but on CGA systems the pattern blocks fill the
intersections.
Comments:
Grid mode is most appropriate for most monochrome systems
since the filled blocks don't stand out as well on the
checkerboard background.

Command: Weave/Styles/Gridlines suppressed < WSG >
Purpose: SWITCH--suppress editor gridlines for blank window
Information:
When the Board Style switch is OFF, the grid/board is a
graph-like grid. With Board Style OFF AND Gridlines
Suppressed ON, neither the checkerboard nor grid are
displayed: editing takes place on a blank background.
Comments:
This mode is best for printing the screen using the
computer's PrtScr or PrintScreen key. The checkerboard
background is usually too "busy" for print screens, and the
EGA/VGA gridlines are not what they appear to be: they are
actually characters modified for the screen--when printed
they appear different. Non-VGA/EGA systems do print the
screen as it appears.
For any pleasing print screen, your printer must use the
IBM-compatible character set. If you get italics instead
of lines, you may be able to change a DIP switch setting to
access the PC character set.

Command: Weave/Styles/VGA-EGA 50-43 line < WSV >
Purpose: Switch--Control text editing font style/lines
Information:
When VGA/EGA 50-43 line mode is ON, the editors and text
mode displays shift to this mode. The font style is square
instead of rectangular--creating square block characters and
more lines per screen.
When the switch is OFF, double-wide mode is required to make
block characters appear square.
Comments:
This is one of the big advantages of an EGA or VGA system.

_______________________________________________________________
Command: Weave/Styles/Wide Blocks < WSW >
Purpose: Switch--Control double wide text mode
Information:
When Wide Blocks is ON, the editors and text mode display
two characters for every one. Since a character matrix is
roughly twice as high as wide, two characters together yield
a nearly square block.
When the switch is OFF, each pattern block appears as a
rectangle unless VGA/EGA 50/43 line mode is on.
Comments:
In Double Wide mode, the harness and treadling numbers can
use numerals above harness/treadle 9 instead of A...G..y
Turn on Double Wide mode and Weave/Styles/Numeric to see all
harnesses up to 16 displayed as numbers.
