Command: Edit/Symbols/Warp-Design < ESA >
Purpose: Menu--path to warp related symbol editing
Information:
Features available on the submenu include numerical editing
and adjustment of the single display and printed symbol.
Comments:
A similar menu is available for weft-related editing.

Purpose: Menu--path to weft related symbol editing

Command: Edit/Symbols/Data < ESD >
Purpose: Menu--path to Data Symbol Mode symbol selection
Information:
When Data Symbol Mode is On, a single symbol is used to
display data, instead of the number of the treadle or
harness.

Command: Edit/Symbols/Colors to Symbols < ESC chars>
Purpose: Feature to duplicate current color numbers
Information:
In some circumstances you may wish to select color numbers
separately from symbols, then copy them for the symbol
numbers after saving the mono-symbol weaving. This feature
allows you to copy warp, weft, or both warp and weft colors
to symbol numbers.
The current warp and weft ranges are used.
Comments:
A similar feature copies symbols to colors.

Command: Edit/Symbols/Title Line < EST >
Purpose: Rewrite the current Title Line.
Information:
The Title Line is displayed or printed if the Options/Title
Line switch is ON.
The Title Line is saved automatically whenever you save the
weaving. Title Line files have the ".PTL" suffix.
Comments:
If a color printer is installed, the Title Line feature also
asks for the color for printing.

Command: Edit/Symbols/Warp/Change < ESAC >
Purpose: Change warp-design symbols numerically.
Information:
The current warp range determines the threads presented for
change. You can select within that range with the Up/Dn
arrow keys.
Comments:
In Multi-Warp Symbol mode displays and printouts, the symbol
number selects a character from the current warp symbol
set.
In display and printer graphics modes, the symbol number is
the Variable Thread Magnification factor.
Combined Numeric mode causes numeric symbol prompts like
this one to alternate with warp prompts during Change Warp.

Command: Edit/Symbols/Warp/Find and Replace < ESAF >
Purpose: Automatically change warp symbols within a warp range
Information:
Allows you to change all warp symbols within a specified
range from one symbol to another.
Comments:
The Design screen always uses Warp symbols, so this feature
affects the design screen and warp simultaneously.

Purpose: Exchange warp symbols within a warp range
Information:
Allows you to swap two warp symbols for one another
within a specified warp range.
Comments:
Threading is not affected.

Command: Edit/Symbols/Warp/Select Symbol Set < ESAS >
Purpose: Select the symbol set used for multi-warp weaving
Information:
With Symbol Weave ON, these symbols are used to represent
warp and the design screen in both displays and printouts.
Warp threads with Symbol number one display/print as the
text Symbol contained in Symbol Set Character #1.
The default symbol set, "Threads.PSM" uses IBM Line Drawing
characters for 1-5, the numerals 6-9, and A-G. A similar
set with numerals 1-6 is provided in the file NumSet.PSM.
Another visually oriented set is provided in CharSet.PSM.
Comments:
The same symbol set is used for Multi-Warp displays and
printouts. You may wish to save separate sets for
displaying and printing the weaving, using the best video
and printable characters in each.
An extensive display of all possible video characters is
provided for reference.
Changing the Symbol Set does not affect the existing Warp
symbol selections.

Purpose: Select the single symbol used for video displays
Information:
With Symbol Weave OFF, this symbol is used to represent warp
and the design screen on text mode displays.
The Display single symbol is also the symbol used for
inserting warp or creating a new warp.
Comments:
Different single symbols are used for displays and printouts
with Symbol Weave OFF.

Information:

with Symbol Weave OFF.
