ATSIC
The peak Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander government funded body. It provides info on a wide range of contemporary Aboriginal issues such as native title, deaths in custody and Aboriginal legal cases. We highly recommend this site for its commitment to providing authentic material and its support for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander cultural industries.

AIATSIS
The chief research body for academic affairs. It provides information on specialist resources such as libraries and collections, publications, research work, and news & events. AIATSIS is a well-established and respected government body. We recommend this site for its strong indigenous involvement in all aspects of the institute's work.

FWDP -- Government and NGO Contact List
The Center provides this information on e-mail addresses and other electronic resources to facilitate communication. We also provide a list of other resources on Fourth World nations such as educational and advocacy organizations.

The South Australian Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement Inc.
ALRM is trying to give its clients even better service than it does already, by using the resources of the Internet. ALRM offices are hundreds of miles apart. Our lawyers and field officers work in remote areas, far from the nearest law libraries. We are using the Internet to take the law libraries to our lawyers and field officers, and to take information to our clients. This pilot project has not required any additional funding.

UNPO Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organisation
UNPO is an international organisation created by nations and peoples around the world, who are not represented as such in the world┤s principal international organisations, such as the United Nations.
