When should you apply?
Early application is always recommended! What are the costs of studies abroad?
Estimates of fees are listed in the detailed description of each program.
Is financial aid applicable toward costs of study abroad?
Financial aid awarded by your home campus may be used to defer the charges for tuition and program fee, pending receipt of actual financial aid funds. All other costs of the program must be met by personal funds as required, pending reimbursement upon receipt of actual financial aid funds, if applicable.
How and when will you receive grades?
Your overseas grades will be converted to American equivalents as soon as they are sent from the program site. Students are automatically sent an unofficial transcript by our Records Office. Official notification of grades will be sent to your home campus International Programs Office or Registrar.
Are credits transferable?
Participants from non-SUNY campuses are recommended to meet with their academic advisors to confirm that credits earned on a SUNY at New Paltz program are transferable. For SUNY students, credit earned on SUNY study abroad programs automatically count toward graduation..
