Oh... BIG apologies to the Dead Guys for saying that Daniel Reimslag did the Zak McKracken and Paperboy covers. Sorry! You'll find a link to their page in MPEG heaven.
Sorry also to SeDI for not changing the CD-ROM info fast enough.. :)

Woohoo! The CD-ROM is back!! Thanks to the magnificent Hσkan Svensson, the MPEG CD-ROM has found a new home... :):):) Click here to revisit it (it will shortly be replaced with the CD-ROM version 2).

NEW from Ferrera: International Karate XM, Test Drive 2 XM, Ocean Loader 4 XM: Last Ninja 3-9 XM : click here!

Welcome to C64 Audio. On this site we have MIDIs of C64 tunes (full length) for Creative and XG instruments (pitchbend of 24 semitones required), some XM, a stack of MPEGs of C64 tracks remixed with synths (see below), and a mindblowing Audio CD of remixed C64 tracks:

"Rather than take the easy way out and simply record the game soundtracks, Chris Abbott has used modern instruments to totally recreate the songs in high-quality, crystal clear format. With some remixing help from Hubbard himself, this is one professional CD... as well produced as anything you'll hear on the radio."
Amiga Format, Issue 117, Dec. 98, p59. Gold Medal!
Full review here.

Edge Magazine also gave us a half-page: read it here.

MPEG Heaven (The Deluxe Option!)

The standard Back in Time is an AUDIO CD ("Standard Option"). That is, it plays in an audio CD player. But we also offer a companion CD-ROM of over 100 MPEGs, that contains all the files on this site (this is only available to purchasers of the Audio CD).

The Back in Time "DELUXE option" includes BOTH the Audio CD and this CD-ROM).

But now the entire CD-ROM is online! Highlights include:

Jeff Minter

In the early 1980s, just before Sheep in Space, Jeff Minter started sending out humorous newsletters to his fans.

We've transcribed the first three of his rare issues of "Nature of the Beast" on our Jeff Minter page!

Musician's Ball

Remember the Musician's Ball in Zzap 64? Missed it? You missed THE classic interview with the major C64 composers in one room!

  • Hear Rob say "F'ck"!
  • Find out what they thought of Barry Leitch!
  • Find out just how loudmouthed Gary Penn is!
